Hello! I am Josh Crowley and I am super excited to be the Community Director for HaNegev! This is such an amazing opportunity as someone who grew up in HaNegev. I am originally from Nashville, TN (shoutout MTUSY!) I was on chapter board, Sub-Regional board and also had the opportunity to co-chair IC in 2019.
Outside of USY, I grew up spending my summers at Ramah Darom and would keep coming back after my time as a camper was over as a counselor and Rosh Aidah.
I went to the University of Tennessee (go Vols!) where I held leadership positions in both Hillel and AEPi.
I moved to Atlanta a little over a year ago. I’ve spent the last year working with Jewish Kids Group and being the USY advisor for Congregation Shearith Israel. I am really passionate about Jewish engagement which has also led to me living in a Moishe House!
Some other things about me are that I love football (unfortunately a Titans fan), Brooklyn 99 (overall fan of Andy Samberg), and dogs!
I am really excited to continue to be part of the best region in all of USY!
