This MLK Weekend, USY is bringing you a full three-night convention experience in Atlanta! Get ready for a weekend filled with Jewish connection, new friendships, meaningful experiences, and the chance to make an impact in the Atlanta community.
The USY convention was amazing. My parents are quite secular, and we live outside of a Jewish community, so I’ve always wished I was closer to Judaism. USY helps with that. I loved the community there. Everyone was nice, even people I had never met before. I made so many new friends and had a lot of fun.
As someone who goes to Jewish sleep-away camp, I spend the entire year trying to find that magic of a young Jewish community elsewhere, and USY has done exactly that. The experience this past weekend was truly out of this world, and one that I will always remember. I made so many new friends, reconnected with old ones, and had a sense of belonging which is extremely difficult with the current rise of antisemitism. I would definitely recommend USY to any eligible Jewish teen.
I loved coming to the USY convention this year and last year. It is such a fun and engaging experience where I can truly connect with other people just like me and make connections that I wouldn’t find anywhere else.

We’ll kick things off by coming together for Shabbat, creating space to unplug, connect, celebrate, and build our USY community. From there, we’ll spend the weekend exploring Atlanta, connecting with local communities, and putting our Jewish values into action through service projects and hands-on opportunities to give back.
Inspired by the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., this weekend is all about turning our values into action – learning, serving, leading, and making a difference together.

For those who are arriving into Atlanta, GA on Friday, January 15th and departing on Monday, January 18th, we will provide transportation to the hotel in Atlanta from the International Airport. You must land before 1:00 pm on Friday, January 15th and depart from the airport after 4:00 on Monday, January 18th.
*staff will be present in the airport on Friday, Jan 15th beginning at 9:30 AM local time
*staff will get participants to the airport on Monday, an 18th after the event.
For those who live locally in the Atlanta area or who are driving in, we ask that you get dropped off at 2:30pm on Friday and picked up on Monday at 1:15.

Cancellation Policy:
Through November 19: Full Refund
Between November 20- December 3: $75 cancellation fee.
After December 3: No Refunds unless you have purchase protection
On top of our cancellation policy, we also offer a third party illness protection insurance plan (similar to flight insurance) called purchase protection. Purchase protection is available to purchase through our registration system for a small fee and provides a full refund if the participant is not able to attend due to illness.
