Shira Kohn

Hi USY!

My name is Shira Kohn, and I am a member of the interim international board! I am exited to get further involved in USY leadership. I can not wait to spread USY to more communities, and strengthen the current USY community. 

I am in 11th grade, and I am from White Plains, New York. I am apart  of the Temple Israel Center USY chapter. I go to a small Jewish day school and one of my favorite subjects is English. 

In my free time I enjoy graphic design and love using Canva for anything. I take ballet lessons and I love watching Netflix and hanging out with friends. Over the past summers I went to camp but last summer went on USY on Wheels classic, and had the best experience. 

I have been in USY since 6th grade and i’ve always enjoined learning and experiencing new things through USY events. Throughout my years I have loved getting more involved in USY and taking part in new leadership positions. I have been on m chapter board since I was a freshman  and I currently serve as chapter President. I am so exited to help make a difference in USY this year.
