We are excited to launch a new program for teens who are interested in learning more about Israel and being Israel leadership ambassadors. We are thrilled to offer our first Israel Leadership Seminar in partnership with the Center for Israel Education (CIE). Through a generous donation from CIE, we are able to offer this Israel Leadership Seminar at a heavily subsidized rate of $150. USYers will also receive a travel stipend up to $250.
What is the Israel Leadership Seminar?
The seminar will take place during 3 days in the Hilton Newark Airport from January 20-22, 2019. Teens will learn about Israel and how to bring Israel in a fun, interesting and different way to your region/chapters. You will be immersed in Israel’s culture and history, while given the tools to run programming for your peers. The program will start at noon, Sunday the 20th, and conclude Tuesday, the 22nd at 12:30 PM.
Cost?
$150 per teen. Teens will also receive a travel subsidy up to $250.
How do USYers apply to the Seminar?
Apply here. Applications are due by December 20th. The recommendation form can be sent directly to Guy Shahar ([email protected]) when it is received and is not needed at the time of the completion of the application.
What will the USYers will do after the Seminar?
USYers will work on a program that s/he will prepare and lead with my guidance and training. This will help your region/chapters have more Israel contact.
Can I get a letter excusing my absence?
Yes, letters are available to students who need.
