My experiences in USY brought the first true opportunities, amongst my peers, to discover myself outside of my day-to-day world. Leaving my secular high school, and my hometown, to attend a convention transported all of us to a different reality, where we could learn and grow alongside one another as young adults. My closest friends to this day are the friends I connected with during USY, and I still cherish the lessons we learned about community, friendship, leadership and so much more.
