Founder of Jewish non-profit “Etgar 36,” which leads teens on 36 day journeys across America, engaging in history, politics, and activism through a Jewish prism
Former Chapter Director, Seaboard & Hanegev Regions
Though I was only somewhat active in USY during my teens, the impactful relationships I developed with my youth directors helped me understand the importance of strong youth programming. Those lessons guided my path to pursuing a career working with Jewish youth. I later spent 11 years as a Youth Director at my home congregation…and subsequently created Etgar 36, a program that leads teens on 36-day journeys across America, engaging in history, politics, and activism through a Jewish prism.
