This past Labor Day Weekend, Regional and International teen USY board members met up for a weekend of learning, leadership, and bonding. Regional Executive Board members had the opportunity to speak with their counterparts from across the continent to learn about what they do in each of their own regions. The leaders also had the chance to learn from Brett Lubarsky, Associate Director of Jewish Teen Initiative of Greater Boston. The biggest thing the Regional and International Board members discussed over the weekend was defining their USwhY; why they are involved in USY, and why they care enough to take on positions of leadership. Throughout the year, these USY leaders will be using the lessons they took away from this weekend to help strengthen your regions. Watch the video to hear more of what they learned!
