I became a rabbi due to my experiences with USY. USY provided me with the opportunity to fall in love with being Jewish. USY created for me a safe environment to fall in love with our people, our land, our culture, our language, our traditional texts and our heritage. When I graduated from high school, I knew that I wanted to give back by creating similar experiences for Jewish youth and I thought that the best way to accomplish by goal would be becoming a rabbi that works with youth.
