Each year the Social Action/Tikun Olam Vice President on USY’s International Board (the six teens chosen yearly by hundreds of their peers to lead USY) spearheads large-scale initiatives to involve all USYers in efforts to effect positive change in their world. Below, check out this year’s programming initiatives from Hannah Weiss, International SA/TO VP.

Repair Your World Projects
Repair Your World Projects are created by USYers for USYers. This year, USYers had the chance to submit SA/TO project ideas and be selected to develop their project into an international campaign. The following two programs were selected:

  • Lishmoah LeShoaha, an initiative that encourages USYers to engage with Holocaust survivors. Click here for more information.
Created by: Mira Berenbaum (Far West)
  • Project Yarok, a campaign to make USY chapters and regions a more eco-friendly environment. Click here for more information.
Created by: William Grossman (HaNegev) and Josh Eiger (Hagalil)
